Vader!

Great Darth Vader full helmet from Don Post studios!  These were advertised quite a bit in '78 in Starlog magazine.  The mask is a two piece; the helmet portion velcor's to the frontal face mask. A very accurate duplication of the mask David Prowse wore in Star Wars!

Star Trek-The Next Generation figures!

These fantastic figures are from the all-too short lived Galoob series from 1988.  I dare say they are some of THE best action figures made; even better than the similarly sized Star Wars figures (gasp!  Did I say that? Yes. Yes I did. Because it's true.).  Great points of articulation, dead-on likenesses (notice the difference in height!).  Not sure what happened to the series; there were more planned along with some great planned playsets, but the line soon ended.

The Human Adventure is Just Beginning!

Program from 1979's Star Trek-The Motion Picture; my favorite Star Trek movie!

Star Wars!

The original 12 Star Wars figures; released in 1978!  Ten of these are those that I've had since then (the Jawa and Sand People figures disappeared and had to be replaced).

These figures were well played with (...and sometimes still are ;)  )!

Super 75th!

With a cover date of June, 1938, the first issue of Action Comics was published 18 April, 1938.  The cover and the first 13 pages of the 60+ page comic book were devoted to a new character: Superman! After years of trial and effort, this figure and his story were finally published: bringing forth the first comic book super-hero created for that medium, and forever changing our cultural landscape.

Super Friends Batman!

Based on the designs of the great Alex Toth, this Batman figure stands in front of a picture of my favorite Batman, Adam West!

Mego Star Trek!!

These are great figures from the famous Mego line; wonderful likenesses  of the actors.  The figures look very similar to the animated version of the show, which was fine with me.  As a kid, that was the version I saw the most, and got Dr. McCoy-my first figure- on my 7th birthday while the show was still on the air!
